A really quick, tasty yet simple flatbread that is great with my vegetable Morrocan tagine recipe. To make these flatbreads, you will need:
- 200g plain or chickpea flour
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly in a bowl, and slowly add water whilst mixing until a firm dough is formed. Place on a floured surface, and divide into 6 equal parts. Dust each part with flour and press with your hand until 3-4mm thick.
Heat a frying pan on a medium-high setting, and dry fry the shaped breads for approximately 1 minute on each side, or until brown spots appear on each side.
